    Casino Under Prostitute Investigation

The Star Casino in Australia is currently under investigation for allegedly shuttling prostitutes illegally. The Casino complex stands accused of allowing various pimps to ‘market’ and advertise their women within the confines of the building. The investigation came to light as part of the process for reviewing their gambling license.

A spokesman for The Star Casino made a statement indicating that the complex has a ‘zero tolerance approach’ when it comes to illegal prostitution, however this claim directly contradicts over a dozen reports from former staff. The staff members working at the time claim that it was a very common scene for pimps to arrive with women and advertise their goods inside the casino without any problems. This comes at a particularly bad time for the casino, having only very recently undergoing a full makeover costing in excess of $900 million. The relaunch a mere month ago seems as though it may be for nothing if the casino is found guilty of the charges filed against it. Maybe The Star should be looking into online gambling as a potential new source of revenue?
