Online Casino Gambling

Websites, including online casino gambling sites, regarded as unacceptable by the Chinese government will get blocked through special software installed on all new personal computers. This will happen on the 1st of July this year on all computers sold in China.

Manufacturers have been told of this new rule, although the public in China aren’t aware of it. Well they should know now. The main reason for this rule is to protect kids from harmful website content like porn. Due to online gambling being illegal in China, many online gambling sites will also be blocked but I’m sure one day soon that will change. Chinese are big gamblers and they love to bet, so the government will have to update to the modern world.

This special software was developed by Jinhui Computer System Engineering Company. Many older computers had parental control software but is not considered strong enough to block everything the government wants blocked. The founder of Jinhui, Bryan Zhang had this to say…
“we will transmit new banned addresses to users’ PCs through an Internet update system similar to that used by operating-system software and antivirus programs.”

If the software proves to be successful then the Chinese government will add to the list of banned subjects. Everyone wants to protect kids, but there is limit to trying to control the lifestyles of people.
